| Four ALANA members had the priviledge of attending national journalism conferences over the summer. The experience put some on the right track and gave others new exposure to the media industry. Conferences attended were the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Milwaukee, WI and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists conference in San Diego, CA.
